STEP ONE: Informal Drop-In
Come along and join us for an informal afternoon with tea and cakes to discuss how we can combat anti-social behaviour in our communities.

The meeting will be hosted by RotherFed (Rotherham Federation of Tenants and Residents) and is open toall Rotherham tenants and residents. This will be an informal chance to meet up with and chat with members of tenants and residents associations (TARAs) from around Rotherham on what we can do ourselves to support our communities in tackling antisocial behaviour. There will be a free quiz with prizes. Tea, coffee and cakes will be served.Poster (pdf)

STEP TWO: Delegates Meeting
To be held on Tuesday 27th March 20012 at Springwell Gardens Community Centre.The meeting will begin at 3pm (the AGM is at 2pm) and will include the launch of the TARA Neighbourhood Support Officer Scheme. There will be stalls and 3 minute presentations on how we can break the mould on antisocial behaviour including Alcohol and Drug Misuse, Garden Nuisance, Intimidation, Litter and Rubbish, Noise, Pet Nuisance, Vandalism and Vehicle Nuisance.

STEP THREE: Visit to Lifewise
A free day session looking at scenarios introducing you to ways we can break the mould on antisocial behaviour in our communities. The day will be held at the Lifewise Centre which has a fictional town
called ‘Kea Park’ featuring house, shops, a transport Interchange - with full-size bus, cars, park, police Station - with cell and custody area, fire station, court house, NHS Accident and Emergency department with GP room and Ward, electrical sub-station and internet café.

Lifewise Centre

Issues we will exploring include Alcohol and Drug Misuse, Garden Nuisance, Intimidation, Litter and Rubbish, Noise, Pet Nuisance, Vandalism and Vehicle Nuisance.
STEP FOUR: ASB Training
A full day training session where attendees can gather an understanding of how partners come together to tackle antisocial behaviour. The morning session will centre around what we can expect from partners, the afternoon the role of a TARA Neighbourhood Support Officer. There will be a simple test paper at the end of the day.
