Because of the way they have been funded, most of the grants below are only available for Rotherham TARAs who have at least 20% membership that are council house tenants and are members (information on joining here).
Start up Grants
Upto £200 for newly formed TARAS. Application form can be downloaded here (pdf file).

Maintenance Grants .
Upto £200 for TARA maintenance costs for groups that have been up and running for at least a year. Application form can be downloaded here (pdf file). Examination of accounts required to access this funding (see below). You can apply every year for this grant. .
Office Expenditure Grants

Upto £1000 for TARAs to help them meet their accommodation or office expenditure costs and are for any amounts up to £1000. Application form can be downloaded here (pdf file). No matched funding required - just a business plan for those bids over £500 which our staff will help you write!

Examination of Accounts

Rother Fed will make a financial contribution for groups to have their accounts examined through Voluntary Action Rotherham's community accountancy service. A bonus grant is available for well-kept accounts! Details here (pdf file).
