Insurance for TARAs
IMPORTANT: From 1st August 2010, Members are responsible for registering their group to opt into this service. The cover also may change in terms of some of the details.
RotherFed will pay for public liability insurance for your group. The provider from 1st August 2010 will be Ladbrooks of Dinnington.Opportunities for TARAs to add additional cover to this insurance may be possible at the group’s own expense.

Up to 31st July 2010, insurance covers:
Meetings/AGMs
Low key fundraising such as jumble sale, car boot, coffee morning
Attendance as a stallholder at fetes, fundays where they are NOT the
organiser of the overall event
Small fetes/fundays attracting less than 200 persons excluding the use
of Bouncy Castles
Social events such as day trips, theatre trips, BBQ's, barn dances,
christmas parties
Management of rooms and room hire
It will NOT cover:
playgrounds/skateparks/bmx tracks
playschemes
bonfire/fireworks displays*
large funday/festival events/ attendance over 200
bouncy castles
sports teams playing risk
member to member cover
advice
treatment risks
