Why not apply for a TARA Safeguarding Excellence Award?
To Achieve Safeguarding Excellence Standard and receive an Award:
- Your committee members to have attended a half hour RotherFed briefing on safeguarding - this can be done where you normally meet. Contact us to arrange a talk.
- Your TARA to agree a child protection and/or vulnerable person's policy at one of your meetings.

- Your TARA to appoint a child protection/vulnerable person's officer who has an enhanced CRB check undertaken by RotherFed. CRB forms will only be given out to this named person. RotherFed will keep a record of their contact details.
All volunteer CRB checks will be provided by RotherFed free of charge.
