2010 Rotherham Ltd presently manages council housing on behalf of Rotherham Council. This contract will come to end in 2011- watch this website for details on how you can become involved in decisions on the future management of your housing.
A delegates meeting on 8th September 2009 discussed opportunities to build new council and social housing in Rotherham. The panel of speakers were Rt.Hon John Healey MP, Minister of Housing, David Curtis, Yorkshire and Humber Regional Director of the Homes and Community Agency, Cllr Jahangir Akhtar Cabinet Member of Neighbourhoods from RMBC Matthew Spittles from 2010 Rotherham.

Tenants and residents made it very clear that they wished to be fully involved in Council House Directions . 50 people attended this open meeting addressed by Cllr Jahangir Akhtar, RMBC Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods which also included a short workshop discussing how tenants wish to be involved in the future management of council housing following the completion of Decent Homes.
