Housing Strategy
Effective community involvement needs to be at the heart of developing a Housing Strategy and Investment Planning.Voluntary and community sector representatives held an initial workshop on the housing strategy on 30th March 2010. Key issues raised during the workshop was the importance of the voluntary and community sector being central to delivery of projects, the key role played by community buildings in our communities and the need for specific support highlighted for vulnerable groups, particularly the elderly.
